What an awful way to spend your 13th birthday. A nasty broken bone I take it, one that wasn't going to mend itself.
So sorry, Nick, but hope you found a way to celebrate anyway with some special treat.
Thank you Gail. Nick decided several years ago that he wanted to become an orthopedist like his grandfather. The cast is icing on his cake.
