Dog Day Afternoon

Spring please come quickly.

This is not a poodle, with a frou frou hair cut. It's a Shih Tzu home from an afternoon playing in the snow. Her legs and undercarriage so snow packed she can JUST barely walk.

After being thawed, bathed and dried she's back outside to do it all over again.

Not a bright dog, but having a lot of fun.

How cute -- Ollie doesn't like to go out in the snow!!! And he doesn't get snow packed even when he does! When he goes out, it's not very far and then he looks back at you with a "you want me to go out in this stuff" kind of look! For a cattle herder, he is a wus!

Our Scottie is the same way. Not too bright, but really seems to enjoy life.

Napoleon the puggle prefers not to go outdoors. Being the brilliant little man he is, he has contracted a plumber to devise an indoor facility for his personal use.
Okay, that's a lie. He would if he could, though.

Adorable. My dogs get snow clods between their toes. It bothers me more than it does them.

"Not a bright dog"

What?

Instant replay: Master opens door so dog may go outside to frolic in deep freezing snow, dog gets frozen so master opens door for dog to come inside, master bathes/thaws/dries/feeds/comforts dog, then master opens door and lets dog go back outside to re-freeze; repeat procedure throughout day.

Scratching head at concept of master saying dog is not bright.

I love her tenacity. With our freezing temps last week, I couldn't get our dog to go outside to do her business, let alone frolic.

I agree, bring on spring Toad!
