This ad appears in the April 2009 New Orleans Magazine, and frankly really offends my delicate sensibilities.
Take a close look, you'll see it.
I am willing to take the photo at face value. Pretty girl, beautiful dress, lovely setting. Yet, something is wrong with this portrait. Am I being too harsh?
An irregular conversation about what's on my mind, observations on human nature, the decline of civility, and the ways men and women see the world differently.

your blog is very good......
OMG I just saw the car. LOL!!!
Call me old fashioned, but I hate when the shoulders aren't covered...
Also, the bride blends into the whole darn room...
The car in the background. The pillows propped next to the fireplace.
Jennifer thank you very much.
It's the car that set me off. Supposing the portrait was real, and I was the brides father I would have decked him.
you can't photoshop out the car?
I agree, the car is a pretty egregious mistake for a "master photographer".
Hell, that pompous term alone is pretty egregious.
I'm also not so keen on the cherub laying across the mantle, who appears to be leering at our blushing bride.
Yeah, a black blanket outside the window would have fixed that. I actually think the cherub is kind of hysterical.
The ugly white car outside?
