Off to the Derby parties

She's too shy to mention it publicly but be sure to place an extra wager or 2 on Mrs. Blanding's personal entry in the Derby. Shackleford.

My alternative is the #3 horse. For luck I'm sporting "The Man" bow, made by Southern Proper for Wm. King Clothiers

So as we returned from the airport, not 3 blocks from home, we encounter a VERY long line of Police Cars, idling on the side of the road.

The local gendarmes were setting up a road block to test the alcohol level of returning revelers. But for the grace of God, go I.

Mrs. B's horse was pretty fast, mine is still running.

Toad, elegantly attired, as usual. I wore a blazer to a Derby party as well. I was the only one, being that it is hot as hell here in south Texas. Oh, by the way, yer horse came in about a week ahead of mine (Derby Kitten).

I noticed Shackelford and thought the same thing. For myself I was pulling for Pants on Fire.

Toad...you are looking stronger than nine rows of spring onions man. Pretty soon I'll be able to send you a sportcoat or two.

We only had $20 on the horse, but loads of misspelled pride. The boys thought 4th was not so bad.
