To avoid the chance of waking up to find what I'd planned to post horribly inappropriate due to the continuing saga of Hurricane Isaac I've decided to go for a much needed smile instead.
If you are in harms way please we wary. Gulf Coastians you are in our thoughts, if any one here can assist you in any way, please get in touch quickly.

Blessings on them all. Including you, Sir, for having to reschedule your much-anticipated R&R trip to the city, a minor inconvenience comparatively, but a disappointment nonetheless. For those interested in updates, visit nola.com.
We've gotten Isaac's outer bands here for DAYS, they're still coming as we speak, we have a very black sky outside and thunder overhead, fortunately we haven't lost power yet. Are the bands coming up as far as you yet, Toad? Hope you need rain, looks like Isaac is on track for Mayberry.
An irregular conversation about what's on my mind, observations on human nature, the decline of civility, and the ways men and women see the world differently.

Isaac will be here Saturday. Tomorrow's planned post (weather permitting) was intended for today.
Wishing Mr. and Mrs. Toad safekeeping
during the storm.
