I am reminded of the first time I heard this song. I was lying in bed - my mom was sure I was tucked up snug in my bed but in fact I put on my headphones, stuck a cassette tape in my boom box and hit record (I realize I'm dating myself,) and listened to the Dr. Demento radio show. (My fifth grade friends and I would trade tapes of the illicitly got show.) I remember my surprise at hearing that it was recorded before I was born. I didn't think anything cool happened before I was born ;) It holds up well, still funny today.
An irregular conversation about what's on my mind, observations on human nature, the decline of civility, and the ways men and women see the world differently.

Without Norman Rose's voice it probably wouldn't have held up as well. My god, you are old.
