As easy as a knife through butter

Ever have a good knife blade snap while cutting butter?  I have.

Strangely enough, something similar happened to one of my stepfather's knives, but Henckels was happy to replace it.

See here for info on returning it.

Sure, blame it on the butter...nice to know that Henkles was great about replacing though, for this is bound to happen to moi, another freezer of butter.

Thank you for the tip on how to replace my favorite knife.

I've never heard of freezing butter. Is it one of those housekeeping quirks that get passed down in families?

The point of freezing butter, like putting up garden veggies is that it keeps.

If you are a consumate shopper like Mrs. T you tend to pick up some things on sale, or in our case, Sams only sells butter in 4 1 pound boxes. What do you do with the extras? Freeze em.

Astonishing. Good thing you weren't injured.
