Rereading Lisa's (doyenne of Privilege) guest post at Rock the Silver on women transitioning to gray hair was timely. To my way of viewing the world the new head of the International Monetary Fund, Christine LaGarde has managed the transition very well.

Something we could use a bit more of here in the states "Women Power Brokers."
One of the terrible outcomes of not going naturally and gradually gray is that if for some reason (the flu, travels in the Amazon, a prolonged meditation retreat) you can't get to the salon, you look like you've suddenly aged a hundred years.
