Princess Diana's image is being used by a Chinese lingerie firm in advertisements on the 13th anniversary of her death. The ads have been splashed across giant billboards in shops and airports across southern China and feature a Diana lookalike.
That may be the most bizarre mix of strangeness, inappropriateness, and complete lack of cultural awareness ever. Standing on its own, the artwork (that doesn't scream Princess Diana in spite of the tiara) kind of makes me laugh.
