Beautiful shot, I can smell the wood smoke in the air and taste the Scotch. Reminds me of up home in Wisconsin....except for the six feet of extra snow that would be in the photo!
My grandson's other grandfather is an orthopaedic surgeon. He call old men who skate names like, bread and butter, annuity, and so forth. I best lay off the skates.

This will be one of those years when one can go skating! They are far and few here on the prairie-- which is not that far from Mayberry!
Alas, I sold my skates years and years ago!
Martha remember when we were kids and our parents would just throw us on the ice in our street shoes? Never certain the ice would hold us.

Toad -- the cocoa was terrific! With lots of marshmallows -- the BIG ones -- not those tiny little things!
