top on, top off?

According to the marketing geeks at Nabisco, 40% of Oreo eaters remove the tops of their cookies before eating. Whichever your preference (I'm in the minority, and prefer Hydrox) join in wishing Oreo's a happy and prosperous happy 100th. birthday

  1. Top off, and eat the center first. Happy century mark. Join me in a chorus of " Little girls have pretty curls, but I like Or-e-os"

  3. I'm with James....must lick the middle out first. When I was much younger I would open two double stuffs and put the two middles together. That seemed a much better middle to cookie ratio.

  4. Guess I'm just and oddball. Never liked 'em. Rather have Fig Newton.

  5. "Rather have Fig Newton."

Exactly! I can go through one of those cellophane sleeves in no time, all by myself.

  6. Top on, definitely. With milk.

  7. Top off, eat center, eat top, eat bottom. A complex and laborious process if there ever was one. Similar to Reese's Peanut Butter Cup eating scenario: Eat all around the crinkly edges, then top, then bottom and middle together. You are totally making me laugh just thinking about it!

  8. I haven't seen Hydrox in ages! You know where I can get some?

  9. Another vote for old fashioned Hydrox,a crisp and salty cookie with just a thin coating of cream on the inside. Oh, and milk. Thanks for the memories from my childhood, great stuff!
